Melges Performance Sailboats is excited to introduce the latest addition to its support boat lineup, the Melges RIB 625R. Built on the same platform as the 625C, the new trim level enhances the passenger experience with premium bench seating and a powder-coated T-top.
Launched in 2024, the Melges RIB 625C set a new standard for coach boats with its performance-focused design. The new 625R builds on that foundation as a versatile support vessel, offering increased seating and a more relaxed onboard experience for spectators and families.
With a standard deep V bow and reverse bell curve transom, both Melges RIBs offer exceptional stability and superior wave-handling. The bow stays firmly grounded, providing precise control for the driver and maximizing their field of view as they accelerate onto a plane. Powered by a Yamaha 115HP outboard, the hull planes even at low speeds, helping eliminate blind spots and increasing overall safety.
Melges deliberately excluded external hardware and lines from the Hypalon-constructed tubes to facilitate a friendly interaction between racing yachts, winged skiffs, foiling boats, and their support boat. An aft tow post comes standard on all Melges RIBs for a quick trip to shore or in case of breakdowns.
The interior of the 625R features refined detailing, including front and rear upholstered bench seats. The increased seating features padded backrests that lock passengers in for a smooth, balanced ride, no matter the sea state. A powder-coated T-top provides shade and comfort, making the 625R an ideal choice for extended days on the water.
The Melges RIB 625R is now available for order and delivery to customers in Europe and the United States.
