Peter Keck Claims Victory at the 2026 C Scow WYA Regatta

The 2026 Wisconsin Yachting Association C Scow Regatta brought 63 teams to Nagawicka Yacht Club for a full weekend of competitive racing, challenging conditions, and classic Midwest sailing.

Sailors experienced a little bit of everything throughout the three-day event. Friday afternoon, a steady breeze filled in, allowing the race committee to complete two races to kick off the weekend on the water. Saturday brought slightly stronger breeze, but the rain never let up. Despite the wet conditions, the race committee successfully completed two more races—one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The final day delivered what sailors hope for: champagne conditions. Going into the final day and final race, several boats were battling it out to win the event including Peter Keck, Will Haeger, and Kent Haeger, all fighting for the top spot on the leaderboard.

After a competitive weekend of racing, Peter Keck came out ahead and won the event. Keck sailed with a brand-new set of North Sails, showcasing the performance and reliability that sailors trust when competing at the highest level.

Congratulations to Peter Keck on the win and to all 63 teams who competed at Nagawicka Yacht Club. Thank you to the race committee, volunteers, and host club for putting together a fantastic weekend of C Scow racing.
