The Melges Team is thrilled to welcome scow sailors back to the Melges Watersports Center in Merritt Island, FL! After an amazing first season on the Space Coast, we’re ready to welcome the community back for another round of world-class coaching, competitive racing, and skill-building opportunities.
Last year’s inaugural series delivered big! Sailors of all levels sharpened their boat handling, developed smarter tactical skills, and left with renewed confidence on the water. With steady breeze, warm weather, and easy access to the water, Merritt Island proved to be the perfect home for winter scow sailing. This year, we’re building on that momentum and can’t wait to see even more sailors join the fun.
The Melges Watersports Center has quickly become a winter hub for the scow world:
Expert coaching from some of the best sailors in the class
Hands-on clinics that elevate your skills before race day
Convenient access to the water with consistent wind and great conditions
Charter boats available and ready for racing
Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills in a clinic, go head-to-head in regattas, or both, this series is designed to help you sail faster and smarter while having a great time on and off the water.
