Trusted, Tested, & Ready to Win

Our proven E Scow sail designs continue to deliver the best in class speed for which the Zenda Team is known. Melges-produced designs have consistently powered the top teams in the E Scow Class. Now, by combining Harry Melges’s class-leading designs with North’s technology and quality construction, North E Scows Sails will set a new standard for Speed in the E Scow Class.

AP Main

The go-to main for any condition, the AP is a user-friendly, easy-to-trim design that delivers power and control across the full wind range (0–25 knots). A refined luff curve ensures a better mast fit and smoother shape, providing more power in the lower ranges while maintaining excellent depowering ability with vang and cunningham adjustments as the breeze builds.

M-3 Main

The M-3 Mainsail design is built primarily out of Contender 3.8 PK in the body and features a large radial clew box to keep the lower sections very straight in the back and a nice radial head for ultimate smoothness and durability. The sail is fast throughout the wind range and requires less rig tuning to keep it in its 'sweet' spot, which allows you to keep your head of the boat more to help you win.

AP Jib

The AP Jib excels in 0–18 knots and can comfortably extend into higher ranges or through choppy water. Perfect for those running a one-jib program, this sail offers speed, pointing, and versatility.

M/H Jib

Engineered for Heavy Air conditions, the Medium-Heavy rounds out the range with optimized shapes for heavy wind strengths, ensuring that every E Scow team can find their perfect setup for any venue.

L/S Jib

Engineered for Light Air conditions, the Light Speed jib rounds out the bottom of the range with optimized shapes for light air, in anything under 8 knots the light speed jib is the choice.

J-4 Jib

The J-4 Jib is built out of PXB 10 and 15, this jib has proven fast from day one. Full radial construction and a straighter back make this sail have a wider range while being very versatile and responsive to different trim settings. This sail has power in light air chop and stays flatter and straighter uprange to help keep the slot open —a very fast combination.

Spinnakers Built for Speed

Z-4 Spinnaker

Developed in Zenda by the Melges Team, the Z-4 is a fast, forward-reaching spinnaker for teams who love to push the pace. “Z” stands for Zenda, where all the fastest E Scow sails are born.

Max Runner

Whether you’re running a one-kite program or simply want the best all-around downwind sail available, the Max Runner delivers unmatched versatility and top-end performance.
