What's new this season?
Intro to Racing Camps: We’ve lined up two Intro to Racing Camps for sailors of all ages who are new to racing and the Melges 15 Class! Focus on boat handling and racing fundamentals. Learn tips and tricks for tuning, rigging, and racing the Melges 15.
Flight School: Two-day camps designed to introduce sailors to the thrilling world of foiling! our camps offer the skills, confidence, and experience you need to soar across the water. A new adult camp has been added October 18-19!
Paddleboard & Kayak Rentals: Coming to town early or with your family for an event? Rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore the Banana River. Get an up-close look at manatees, dolphins, waterfowl, and other Florida wildlife!
New E Scow Regattas: We have new dates for E Scow Midwinters and Spring Break! Join us for two great events January 9-11 and March 24-26!

What classes will be racing at the Melges Watersports Center?
The Melges 15, Melges 14, E Scow, and MC Scow Classes will be racing this Fall/Winter! The racing season kicks off with the Melges 14 National Championship November 8-9.
Where can I find the regatta schedule?

Should I charter or bring my own boat?
There are charters available for Melges 15s, Melges 14s, MC Scows, and even an E Scow! If you're traveling for just one or two events, chartering a boat from the Melges Watersports Center is often the most practical and affordable option. Chartering takes the hassle out of trailering and logistics. Just show up, rig your sails, and hit the water. It's a simple, stress-free solution that lets you focus on racing and enjoying the event. For sailors traveling long distances or those new to the classes, chartering is a smart, cost-effective way to get involved.
How do I register?
The registration link is located on each corresponding event . Registration is through Clubspot.

Do you offer storage?
Yes, we do! We offer secure, outdoor storage about 10 minutes away from the Melges Watersports Center. You can book monthly storage or storage for the winter. Long-term storage is not available at the Melges Watersports Center.
Can you transport my boats from storage to events?
Absolutely. We want to make your regatta experience stress-free, so we offer round-trip transportation from storage to the Center for regattas. Click here to book transportation for the whole series or individual events. If you’re storing your boat on a dolly, transportation is included with your storage fee.
When can I bring my boat to the Center?
You can arrive as early as two days prior to the start of each event. If you need to arrive earlier, please email info@melgeswatersports.com to make alternative arrangements.
Will parts be available onsite?
The Melges Watersports Center will have a parts store onsite ready to serve each of the classes. You can always order ahead via melges.com.
What is the launching like?
All launching will be via boat ramp or dolly launching from the beach. We strongly recommend dolly launching for the Melges 15s and Melges 14s.
What is the sailing venue like?
The Banana River is an internationally recognized windsurfing venue that features a sandy beach launch, boat ramp, and adjacent parking for cars and boat trailers. Sailing is on the river, a sound with no currents or tides and water temperatures ranging from 70-85.
Can I buy a new boat and have it delivered to the Center?
Yes, we want to make your purchase as seamless as possible. Email sales@melges.com to ask about delivery to Florida.
Can I have new sails delivered to an event?
Yes! Enjoy the delivery of new sails to any event at the Melges Watersports Center. Order from melges.com and select local pickup - Melges Watersports Center.
