Tom Freytag’s MadCap was crowned the 2021 A Scow National Champion. The Championship was hosted June 24-27 by Pewaukee Yacht Club in Wisconsin. The Nationals saw nineteen boats competing including four new Melges boats from 2020 and 2021. Coming in second was Hans Melges followed by Tom’s son, Bo Freytag. The 38-foot boats are the largest of the scow family built in Zenda, WI.
