On the global stage, the Melges 24 World Championship showcased intense competition with a fleet of 47 boats. Ante Botica’s Mataran 24 emerged as the top Corinthian team and secured a well-deserved bronze medal.
Quantum Sails has achieved remarkable victories as the E Scow commemorates its centennial anniversary. Sam and Lily Rogers, alongside Chrisy and Martha Hughes, clinched their victory at the ILYA E Scow Invitational on White Bear Lake, MN. Earlier in the season, Eddie Cox’s team prevailed at the Grand Lake Shootout after an outstanding performance in the Colorado mountains.
Fifty-eight C Scows convened on Delavan Lake, WI for the National Championship in June. Quantum Sails went 1, 2 in the final results onboard with Will Haeger/Kyle Stack and Cam McNeil/Ben McNeil/Meg Bouman.
Tom Freytag’s family team with Tim Krech are the 2023 A Scow National Champions powered by new Quantum Sails. The Nationals, hosted by the Minnetonka Yacht Club, witnessed a fiercely contested battle, with Freytag’s I-7 Team claiming a razor-thin margin victory over Chuck Lamphere’s I-96.
